Create and run tasks

Ask Haruno to do work in plain language, then review the result.

What is a task?

A task is a plain-language instruction you give to Haruno. It can be a one-time request like 'draft this month's management report' or a recurring job like 'email me a weekly sales summary every Monday morning.'

How to create a task

  1. Open Haruno and click New task.
  2. Describe what you want in everyday language. Include any sources, files, or deadlines.
  3. Choose whether the task runs once or repeats on a schedule.
  4. Click Start and let Haruno work in its protected space.
  5. Review the result, ask for changes, or approve it when it is ready.
Tip
Be specific. Name the file, the format you want, and where the result should go. The more context you give, the better the result.

Recurring tasks

You can schedule tasks to run daily, weekly, or monthly. Haruno keeps a history of each run so you can compare results over time and spot changes.

Set a schedule like every Monday at 9am and Haruno runs the task automatically. Scheduled runs count toward your plan — see Usage limits for details.

Review and approve

Haruno does its work in a protected space separate from the rest of your computer. Before anything is saved to your files or sent on your behalf, you review and approve the output.

Example tasks

  • Pull last month's numbers into a board report
  • Summarize the latest 10 support tickets
  • Research competitor pricing and draft a comparison table
  • Build a quarterly presentation from the project folder
  • Reconcile this month's transactions against the bank statement

and save it as a Word file in the Reports folder.
